The company has been developing solutions using new durable Mechanical Piezo print head technology, moving away from its previous reliance on Memjet’s Thermal Piezo print heads.
For over a decade, Colordyne has been at the forefront of hybrid production presses, enabling converters to retrofit digital inkjet technology onto existing equipment without sacrificing existing press functionality. With the adoption of Mechanical Piezo print heads, Colordyne has introduced their 3800 Series Water-Based and 3800 Series UV-LED inkjet engines, an open-source system architecture that offers unmatched flexibility for end users, allowing them to select the ink chemistries, componentry, software and performance configurations that best suit their unique production needs.
